Be Kind Rewind, upcoming comedy starring Jack Black and Mos Def, is going to be released in the coming days.
To tease you a little more before this official release two preview clips had shown up:

Mike leaves Jerry to sabotage the power plant on his own, and Jerry ends up getting frazzled.

Jerry and Mike's have a go at sweding Ghostbusters.

Judging from the preview clips of Be Kind Rewind a movie like this one is likely to become a cult film. I would never have thought that a movie statting Jack Black and Mos Def could be cult: the world is full of surprise!

Was watching a 2006 movie 'The Holiday' starring With Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black.

And guess what! Jack Black was already kind of sweding!

Be Kind Rewind is an upcoming comedy starring both Jack Black and Mos Def. The movie is directed by Michel Gondry. It should be released on February 22, 2008.

The plot:
"Jerry (Jack Black) is a junkyard worker who attempts to sabotage a power plant that he believes is melting his brain. But when his plan goes awry, the magnetic field that he creates accidentally erases all of the videotapes in a local video store where his best friend Mike (Mos Def) works. Fearing that the mishap will cost Mike his job, the two friends team up to keep the store's only loyal customer, a little old lady with a tenuous grasp on reality (Mia Farrow) from realizing what has happened by recreating and re-filming every movie that she decides to rent. From Ghostbusters, Driving Miss Daisy, RoboCop, Rush Hour 2, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Boyz n the Hood, and The Lion King. Jerry and Mike become the biggest stars in their neighborhood by starring in the biggest movies ever made." (Source: Wikipedia)

A neologism has been coined in this movie: ‘Sweding’.
What is sweding?
Jerry (played by comedian Jack Black) and Mike (played by Mos Def) attempt to re-create classic movies by their own, that's sweding.
But Why do they call it sweding?
Well, sweding takes time, even if you're in a hurry, so customers have to wait for their movies longer than usual. That's why Jerry suggests that their ‘customised’ videos are imported from Sweden (partly to justify their longer wait periods and higher rental costs). From that point on the term ‘Sweding’ is used to describe the process of remaking movies from scratch.
